Cost of Attendance, or COA, is a federally defined educational budget that may include allowable expenses beyond tuition, such as certain educational and living expenses.
Because federal aid eligibility can take Cost of Attendance into account, some students may be eligible to borrow more than the amount of tuition currently charged to their account.
Any additional loan funds are still borrowed money that the student is responsible for repaying.
